i want to have reef, and some animals!

but...
in my city, theres only 3 stores that sell marine things....
and they are not helping so much...(wants to sell me everything!)
and i saw a post viewtopic.php?f=2&t=901 (http://www.algaescrubber.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=901)
that he doesnt have skimmer, canister, and other things that i dont know!

so...
i was thinking if i can do that too!
and if i, should I need a sump?

You are talking about a scrubber in the hood. Please don't try to put a scrubber in the hood... it is very difficult even for experienced builders, and would be impossible for your first tank.

Yes do get a sump. It is very simple: All you need are your aquarium, sump, rock, sand (if you want), and your home-made scrubber in the sump with a light on both sides. Something like this:

Or even a bucket for a sump:

if the scrubber do all the job, its really fine for me!
in my city anyone know this stuff, and some shops are very expensive!
my tank will cost around 500 reais(almost 300$), if i had bought one of the shops, should be around 2000 reais!(1200$)extreme expensive! ;x
tnx!

more suggestions please!
