I've been scrapping off around 3 ounces (80-90g) per week of (drained weight) algae (55 gal tank, lightly stocked, fed quite sparingly)
I usually clean on Saturday morning.
This weekend I was kept very busy and so didn't clean the scrubber.
Did it today and the yield was nearly double.
Did the extra couple of days really make the difference?
