This is the only one i found to mention algae scrubbers on their description. More or less all iron makes are the same but the idea of ATS is growing more and more...

Is anyone using this?

I prefer to use iron gluconate. I saw direct impact intially on growth when approach a low nutrient system.

I would use Seachem Iron or make your own from a powder hydroponic source. I used 1.8-2 ml per day on 180 gallons of seachem product.

I've used Kent Iron & Manganese as suggested by SM when I had a low flow issue, it helped bridge the gap, but after correcting flow it's knocking out of the park.

It helped me get through a phase where I didn't have enough flow to the screen. After I corrected the flow issue, the screen is doing much better. I have 3 cups harvest off a 22x7 screen last week. This week the growth is looking a little bit less, but that could be due to feeding or many other factors. Still trying to balance the flow rate, the slot is not wide enough to handle the new higher flow rate, so I have to widen the slot. It is really all about flow rate.
