Hi Everyone,

I'm in the planning stages of building my scrubber, planning on having a cube 300x300x400 (wxdxh) with 4 screens in with a central bulb.

Been looking at what bulb would be suitable would this one be ok?

I'm planning on having a sealed system with an airstone in the bottom of the turf scrubber with the only air outlet through a condensation coil returning to the tank reducing evaporation, without creating a oxygenless atmosphere.

Thanks in advance,

That bulb is huge... way too big for any scrubber. Multiple smaller ones are always better.

As for the needing to supply air/oxygen, you don't need to. Contact with water is all the screen/algae needs. So you can seal it completely if you want.
