Designing a new tank/scrubber

Considering a bank of these lights (with the diffusers removed)

24 inch T5 tubes, producing 14w each

I was thinking of 7 or 8 of them to light a 22 inch x 10 inch screen (one sided)

Tank size would be 100 gallons

Thoughts?

More smaller bulbs is better.

Wider (more flow) is better.

The first ones looked like NO lamp. Second was HO (24W) and good reflectors, keep that in mind. You would get much more punch out of that second fixture.

Also look for Sunlight Supply Sun Blaze T5HO Strip lights and reflectors. Don't know if they're available over there or not.

Yes I guess that's right. Potential drawback with the 14 watters is that it might be difficult to fit a decent reflector behind them
