ATS vs. Silicate?

Dont know if I have translated it right - but will the ATS remove Silicate (the element that can cause many things including brown algea and maybe cyano) ??

No.

But you won't have those algae if your scrubber is running right.

The problem is that I might suspect the black gravel I have in the bottom to hold a large amount of silicate? So maybe I have to pulled it all out again !

If it's leaching, it will eventually all come out.
