Brown dust algae

Hi all, I was wondering if using tap water for top off is contributing to this brown dust-like algae that is in my tank? My scrubber has been running for a few months now and has cleared up all other forms of algae

maybe its the silicate, that ATS dont removes, and some cyano(that must be this algae) is growing...try at least to put some water from your filter(that you drink)
