Santa Monica, it is really easy to add YouTube support to phpBB, just google it, takes just a couple minutes and a few lines in the Admin Control Panel to enable it.
Under the Posting Tab, BBCodes, add a yt and/or youtube tag
Under the BBCode Usage section put:
{IDENTIFIER}
Under the HTML Replacement section put:
<object type="application/x-shockwave-flash" data="http://www.youtube.com/v/{IDENTIFIER}" width="425" height="350">
<param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/{IDENTIFIER}" />
<param name="wmode" value="transparent" />
</object>
Then all you would have to do is type q6MJAe1KQME and the video will show up and play in the post.
