Hey yall,
I need a bucket type scrubber to sit on the floor next to my stand. It's for a ten gallon nano saltwater tank. But I'm trying to get a design together in my head. I think I only seen like 2 or 3 bucket setups. Any guesses.

But here is the screen I picked up. It is darico brand plastic mesh from hobby lobby. It was 49cent for this piece

Here are some shots of me roughing it up with a hack saw

You need to rough your screen up a lot more.

I might have to find some different screen then because what i have is not like that hard white plastic in your pic but its a clear plastic.

No, you have the right stuff. It's kind of opaque, not quite solid white. It's labelled "clear". You have the right stuff, I can tell from your pic. The pic I posted was taken at a shallow angle, which is why it looks white.

You just need to take a bi-metal hole saw to it, a hacksaw blade will only get you part of the way there:

you should get about 1 tablespoon of plastic 'shavings' from each side of a 10x10 screen, roughly. When you drag it, try not to press too hard, just drag back and forth in a random pattern (is that an oxymoron?). You'll get the hang of it right about when you're done. :D
