I've got a scrubber with a 22"x10" double-sided screen. The big screen is kind of a pain to clean, and I've noticed a sharp drop in scrubbing power for several days after each cleaning while the algae build back up from the roots left on the screen. I'm wondering if it would be better to split the screen in half so that I have two 11"x10" screens. Each would be easier to clean and I could do one at a time so that I don't get such a drop in the scrubbing power. Any thoughts? If you have a long screen on your scrubber, do you have it split or just a single screen?
