Reflector and bulb

Hi

That's my first post here and I'm not too sure if is in the right place.

I just bought reflector and CFL bulb 45W 6400k but I think the reflector is too small or bulb is too big.

From my point of view the reflector will not do his job.

Should I get a deeper reflector?

You could cut a larger diameter hole and mount the reflector closer to the bulb.
