Still getting dark algae.

My nitrate readings are about 20-30ppm
Ive cleaned it about 3 or 4 times now. Been going for almost a month.
When do i start getting more green algae? or green hair.

Oh and its about 10x12. 350-400 gph flow
CFL both sides.

I think the more important question immediately is how much algae product and are nitrates dropping?

23 watts each side, I clean it about every 4-5 days. So it doesnt get that thick.
There are some more green every time i clean it though. But in the end. The dark stuff grows.

And i think my nitrates were at 80ppm?

If you have a 10 x 12 screen you should have twice the light wattage you currently have, that will give you green algae and sort out your nutrient levels.
