Be careful what you put in your little box of water unless you have the means to remove the offending compounds!

This is why we don't put corals inside scrubbers.

Fortunately, algae absorbs terpenes out of the water.

Thats where I have been going wrong, I will take them out of the scrubber and put them in the display tank tomorrow!
I will take your word for it on the terpenes, carbon or equivalent would absorb them too I presume.
