I am going to be setting up the sm100 on my solana and could use some recommendations. My idea is layed out below, I just want to make sure that I do it all right the first time around.

1. Place the scrubber above the tank on a shelf in my built-in. (see 3rd image)

2. pump out of chamber three, opposite side of where you see skimmer in image 1st image. pump is 900gph.

3. Rig up some pvc from scrubber drain to return into chamber 1, where my skimmer currently is.

I am open to options for a under tank solution w/ small sump, but as the tank is already setup, drilling it won't be an option.

I like that cave in the middle.

Go ahead and try it on the overhead shelf first. It may take a few weeks of tweaking to get it silent; make sure the drain pipe never goes horizontal... it should always go at least slightly downwards so that air is not trapped. Since it's in your living room, you might even do a mock-up, using a bucket instead of the scrubber to see how it sounds. Also, if you can set the scrubber lengthwise from front to back, instead of side to side, it will be much easier to work with.

I've got the scrubber setup above the tank. It is pumping up nicely from chamber 3 (right side) flowing cleanly, and returning pretty quietly into chamber one. My only concern is that i'm only filtering the water in the chambers. Am i wrong?

Let us know how adding the 2nd pumps works, like we talked about on the phone.
