Random question, has anyone here had any experience of photographing fish in a semi-pro manner, e.g. with a digital SLR camera?
I find it very hard not to get distortions from the glass due to diffraction, and getting the damn fish to stay still to use a macro lens is impossible =(.
I've got a camera capable of ISO6400 natively (plus higher if boosted), so that helps, got a variety of fast lenses, tripod, remote shutter and even live view I can plug into the TV through HDMI so I can get the focus perfect and take the photo remotely without moving the camera.
Does anyone have any tricks to get them nicely in focus and stop moving? lol
I do also have on camera flash and a flashgun, but need to get a circular polarising lens to cut out reflections in the glass.
