I think it is out of Santa Monica's hands. He has to follow the rules for getting his patents in order. His hands are tied. He can't release anything yet. I am sure he is just as anxious to share as we are to hear about it.

I think that saying was made for our hobby. ;) I have learned a million different things since getting into this hobby a couple decades ago, but none were as important as learning "patience". :D

@SM, I am a member of the LaReef forum and there is a growing interest there about my scrubber and another members that has a SM100 (thatgrimguy). I am covered there.. I bought 10 screens when I first got into scrubbers for a whopping $3.30 (33cents ea)... still have 3 new ones left after all these years. But 12x12 is a little hard since normal screens come in 10.5"x13.5" sizes.

If you are running the 300 now and need filtering now, I'd wait on this one. Use a proven design.

You should have the other parts you need.

One thing you probably have, but will need to get if you don't, is an airstone that is 3 or 4 inches long. An air bubble wand would work too. Of course an air pump too.
