My simple scrubber,
Here is all the components. Check the elbow before the downpipe got a halfmoon piece in it. So that it will keep the water on the screen side and when that do block up for whatever reason, it will overflow down the downpipe. The slot is cut with a small angle grinder, so it is not too wide. Screen is tied with cable ties around a conduit pipe.

And here it is in place

This is on a small system, all the water from the overflow go directly to the scrubber, that runs above the DSB deep sand bed.
No need for extra pump to supply water to the scrubber as I use what is for free - gravity.

Scrubber is now over 3 months old, photo's was on week one. Phosphates and Nitrates used to be sky high, but now I got no PO4 or NO3 problems.

Hi, welcome to the site, and thanks for sharing your design!
I like the way it's easy to slide in/out with the smaller pipe permanently attached.
How is the material screen holding up after 3 months? I can see it looks a little frayed at the top where it goes through the pipe slot.
