Hi there just wondering what is the best snail, crab or anything else you can recommend for removing detritus (I think)? Since i installed my scrubber my tank has never been better massive fight with cyano and diatoms on sand but now all cleared up, one thing left my rock is all fuzzy with dark stuff falling off onto the sand. Is their any reef safe creature that will eat this?

It's just periphyton, including foramiferas, which are growing on the rocks and snagging detritus. Feed more pods, just like on a reef, so maybe it's time for a mandarin.

Sorry SM i am confused why feed more pods? Why add a mandarin wont he eat the pods? Also i have solved all my problems with the ats but the fuzzy stuff on my rocks and sand, and every 2-3 days i get a film of green growing on my glass. since starting the ats i have loads of little tiny white guys crawling on the green film on the glass i mean they are tiny hard to see are they pods?

Maybe i should mention as well i only have 6 fish and feed half cube daily but my scrubber is rated for 2 cubes a day. But it grows thick very bright green in 3-4 days both sides which has to be cleaned every 3-4 days. How so much growth on a 2 cube screen in a few days when only feeding half a cube?

Yes the little things are pods.
You might be getting "initial growth" from phosphate coming out of the rocks, which is allowing the screen to fill up more than 1/2 cube would normally allow.

Why do you say get a mandarin? Do you think the phosphates leaching is the cause of my glass having a green film? What would you recommend to clean up my rocks and sand? Thank you for your advice.

When i mentioned fast growth and bright green. I had to go to barcelona for 3 days so i scraped the screen both sides fully as i knew it would grow ridiculous when i got home it was like this2559

I have seen those. I have thought about them for display lighting. I was looking for an alternative to the 200 dollar par38 versions.
