Not an LED person but why don't the wattages add up.

They are 3 watt leds , but most of the time leds are not driven at peak.

watts is amps x volts

so a 3 watt led driven at 700ma with a drop of 3.5 volts which is about normal would be 0.7 x 3.5 = 2.45 watts

The picture is right off of e-shine's website. Either this is a US front for e-shine, or they are reselling the e-shine fixture, or e-shine is making them for them. Likely the latter of the 3. Either way, the picture is of the 50x1W grow bar, not the 25x3W one, which e-shine still sells so I don't think you're saving much, maybe some shipping cost.

Oh snap you're right, their pics and wattages are all messed up. The 100W array shows the 100 x 1W e-shine fixture, but then says is it 50W using 50 3W LEDs, which are probably run at 2W so that makes sense, but still. This site now screams that it's a front for a foreign company. US based companies (for the most part) actually review their site wording.
