I'm setting up my first scrubber, and I'm having some unexpected problems. I definitely have enough flow but the water is flowing down the screen like the flow is low. Secondly, the water comes down in such a torent that it is causing a bunch of bubbles in the sump. It is currently fresh water for testing but the tank will be salt water when I get the bugs worked out. The bubbles will be more of a problem then.
I need help. Any ideas?

pic problem solved :P
This one is when the screen was sanded and I switched to a Mag7 from a Mag5(the screen is 4.5" across).

And this is the full system. The display tank is a 30g with a 10g sump. It is plumbed for silent operation but the water flowing off the screen makes quite a bit of noise.

The problem is the slot is too wide for the screen. Replace that screen with 2 layers of plastic canvas from the sewing store. Rough the material up so it feels like a cactus first.
