what are these lenses for? i see 40, 60, 80 degrees. what does that mean and whats their purpose?

To concentrate light in to narrower beam. Useful if your leds are at a bigger distance from target.

For display tank lighting. Not for scrubber lighting. Unless your light fixture is far away (12")

Yup.. and also should be mentioned that the narrower the beam tge more par you get. So people with deeper tqnks go with a narrow lens to get light to the bottom. Keep in mind you might need more leds with narrow lenses.

As long as you keep your display light close to the waterline and dont have a tank much more then 24" you wont need them. Less expense and looks better too.
