FW Scrubber with LED lights on 24/7

This screen was new two weeks ago. I included the last picture to show what the screen looked like after I scraped it. Basically it has almost no root system whatsoever.

Seems fine to me. It's pretty much what grows in FW.

FW algae grows like that. Its like slime, no real roots that really grab on. With FW you MUST have a super rough screen. I ran my FW with only a two hour off time in the end and didnt get yellow algae. If its working for you keep it up. You could try an hour off for a week and see if its more or less growth. This would give you more data to use in deciding what to do.
