Where can you buy a good screen for an UAS? Am I just looking for a screen made with 7-mesh cross stitch plastic canvas? Is there a more specific thing I should be asking for or looking for?
Do you just rough it up with sand paper? How rough do you want to get?
Thanks

You can find the screen at most craft stores such as Michaels. Anywhere they sell supplies for needlepoint or cross stitch. You can also buy it online
here is one place I found by googling, not the cheapest. http://www.stuff4crossstitch.com/clear-artist-plastic-canvas-7-count-13-5-8-x21-5-8-33315.html?CAWELAID=600773288&gclid=CJmW85yOxbQCFcef4AodNysAtQ
Get the clear color.
To rough it up follow the instructions in the posts telling you how to make a scrubber. Sandpaper won't work, you need a hole saw, a knife or some kind of plane that has rough teeth.
You can also buy it pre roughed up from Santa Monica.
I've used a steak knife, works ok; drag it across from multiple directions;

Any fabric store should carry it, Darice #7 mesh, clear (it's not really clear, but it's not opaque either) and regular or extra stiff is fine
