I just got a HOG.5 for my nano cube 28 with two oc. clowns, 1 firefish, 1 cleaner shrimp, 2 RBTA, softies, LPS (candy cane and frogspawn) and one SPS (pink birdsnest).
I've read that bubbles in the main can be a problem for some creatures in a tank. If you put a UAS (HOG.5) in the display, how many bubbles are too many?? Which fish, inverts, corals, etc. respond negatively to bubbles??

The display bubbles are not a problem for your livestock. If your talking about gas bubble disease, it's not the bubbles that cause it, it's the dissolved gases in the water that are at higher levels in colder water. The only real worry would be if you had a skimmer or such, right next to a chiller, and this was then delivered straight to the display.

Don't forget you have the option of putting the HOG.5 at the top so the bubbles will be removed. The 3 holes that should be on each side allows the water to exit the cover.
