Just wondering if anyone has put together a troubleshooting guide?

Something like:

If your screen looks like this (insert pic here) you need more intense light
if your screen looks like this (insert pic here) you need more exposure time from your lights
if your screen looks like this (insert pic here) you need more more flow
etc...

If not I can post my specific case I have questions on.

Thanks in advance.

Welcome.

I've been saving up pics, and will do this one day.

OK, in that case I wanted to check in to see what is the best color of algae to get on the scrubber and any idea what I need to change on my build. I already think I know the answer but I'll shoot the question out there anyway. I'm currently getting a lot of growth on my screen but it is a light to moderate brown/yellowish and bubbly. My flow is right around 35 gph per inch. After some of the posts I've been reading I'm assuming I need to reduce the time I have my lights on to darken up the algae, is that correct? I will snap a picture when I clean it tomorrow for better reference.

My goal is to get rid of the algae I have growing in my display. I currently have a minor amount of hair algae and a lot of red slime/Cyanobacteria on my sand bed and rocks. Thanks.

Let it grow 14 days.
