So I'm in the process of setting up a pico reef and I am leaning towards a 3g tank (12x10x10) in a bookcase and I would like to try and make it as automated as possible.
And I like the idea of having a nutrient rich tank so I could try NPS corals too, but I fear that feeding half a cube per day in such a small volume of water could lead to unstable parameters...

As for the automated part, I'm going to hack a dettol no touch (an automatic soap dispenser) so I can feed this tank manually if necessary and off course add an ato.

I've seen a HOG.5 on a 5g (atleast I think it was a 5g), but are there any other pico's with an UAS?

You can make one for any size tank.

So basically a 75cm^2 screen can support a max of .5 cube a day, but it is also the minimum screen size, so would the screen just grow less algae if fed less than .5 a cube?
If thats the case, than I will design a nice hob like uas to safe some space inside the small 3g tank.

Yes it would just grow less.
