newby question

hi, i'm setting up a new 5x2x2 reef tank , upgrading my 3ft system & want to use an uphill algae scrubber in my sump & was wondering if this would help lighting the scrubber.
i know i need propper lighting but if this helps it doest seem a bad price.

that light is only for decoration. It will not work for a scrubber.
