Nice. I have the same tank. I find the left corner beside the overflow is hard to get flow to. Tends to be a settling point for crud.

Is that a horizontal river?

assume the kessil h350 refers just to the light source. looks from your pics that you are running a shallow depth under water algae bed. is that correct?

Sorry Santa Monica not sure what you mean by a river, by the way thank you for all the contributions you have made to the scrubber world, I have read just about all of yours, Turbo's and Ace's posts

It is just the typical screen zip tied to a plastic square (super glued drywall corner protector) that fits snugly In The refugium section held with a magnet I was hoping to overcome the less effective horizontal scrubber with more light and tons of flow, really seems to be working

Exactly Yanton just referring to the light source and its about 4" under the surface

The screen is 4" under water?

I didn't know what I was looking at there. Thought you were calling your refugium with chaeto a scrubber. Now that SM mentioned horizontal/river I see it. And the great HA growth. You have a 500 dollar light on your scrubber? Good looking set up. Mine wasn't a CL deal but a local forum deal, and a really good one at that.

got the light for less than 200 at a hydro grow online. Pic of my last scraping
