I think it would be very difficult to clean when the algae starts to build up...

After i know algae scrubber i use something in home to build it.... The Day After Tomorrow is Chinese Spring Festival ,consquently many stuff can not buy on web ,so only build such poor

Welcome. China will be a great source of low-cost scrubbers one day :)

The 3M material will get clogged, and algae will die inside of it. You need thin material.
