I would like to get away from CFL lighting and switch to LED floodlights screwed into a dome reflector. However, I dont want to experiment.
I have 2 aquariums. One 210 gal the other is a 280 gallon. One screen is 8x10 the other is 10x10

Does anyone have documented success in running one LED per side using the screw in floodlight bulbs? I need a recommendation as my goal is to only have one LED floodlight bulb per side.

Also, pictures are appreciated.
Thanks, C.

ive used the 23w LED floods from lowes and it burned a big hole in the middle of the scrubber and didnt even grow that well. the 26w cfl bulbs work way way better. or go with red/blue leds diy or there are some par bulbs out there with red/blues but not quite sure how well those work on a scrubber.

I use led "grow bulbs" that look a lot like a "flood" lamp. They each contain 7 two watt leds red and blue. I got them on ebay. They seem to work well...better than my old cfl but not as good as a proper "cree" led set up.
