brackish scrubber?

Would a scrubber work on a brackish tank? i have a freshwater set up and am trying to get it to work (i have had other threads trying to figure out how to get it to work) but i am thinking of converting the tank to a brackish setup and was hoping that i can still use a scrubber as my main filtration, if i can get it working.

Works in all water. Salt growth thick; Fresh growth thin; brackish is probably in the middle.
