No reports yet of anyone using these:

...which are also sold here:
http://www.amazon.com/Red-Waterproof-LED-Module-Piranha/dp/B0039BVS3U
...although this person was going to try them:
http://algaescrubber.net/forums/showthread.php?2580-New-Build-with-LEDs-and-questions
However he did end up using these:
http://www.superbrightleds.com/moreinfo/led-module-strings/lsmcc-series-constant-current-smd-led-sign-module/980/
...although it's not clear how much underwater the LEDs are, or what the outcome was:

This lack of options is why we build our light from scratch with 3 watt leds, although it's customized for our SURF2:

So, here are some other options I googled, but have not tried, and may not even work:
http://www.flexfireleds.com/led-strip-lights/red-ip68-waterproof-led-strip-light-reel
(says "3 watts per foot")
http://www.ebay.com/itm/20PCS-Waterproof-RED-LED-Module-3-SMD-Light-Bulbs-/271186835153#vi-content
(says "0.5 watts per module")
http://www.lux-concept.com/led-module-led-smd-3528-red-waterproof-p-559.html
(says "0.24 watts per module")
http://www.smart-group.co.uk/red_led_modules.htm
(says "0.48 watts per module", but can't see where to order them)
The trick seems to be search for "channel" lighting for signs.
