I do have 1 question iss it possible to make a upstream scrubber with only te water from bottum to top ?

I mean putting the drain from the disply down to the bottom of the sump with a slot in it en put the screen on top of it ? As if a waterfallscrubber wrong site up

I hope somewone understand what i mean. My englisch writing is bad i now.

Best regards

Well yes I suppose you could do that, but if it is a submerged device like that you can just go with a standard upflow scrubber type design and not use the slot pipe. Just direct the overflow line into the chamber with the screen in it for water turnover

I don't think there are any bubbles koming out of the drain, the overflow will made out of 2 pipes 1 low en 1 high in the lowest there is a valve for silensing out.

but where are the air bubbles for ? to diliver co2

You can add a venturi for air. You will need to experiment first.

A better way is to let the overflow splash down into a growth compartment.
