In the pursuit of the ever thicker scrubber screen, I had a thought:
Sandwich egg crate between two screens. Think that would work?

Eggcrate is probably too thick... the algae on the inside would not get enough light. Maybe something thinner. Although, two sheet together seems to work good.

I've actuallly finally found a material that works, and it solves the previous material's problem of ripping.
