Red slime growth. Why?

Hey guys. This is my growth today at 14 days.

What does the red slime mean? High nutrients? Low light? Low flow?

Im running cfls 18hrs.

The white stuff is just bubbles of air.

Very weak light. Too slippery for gha to attach.

U think? There is green algae underneath tho

Green can't attach through the dark. Many times when the dark is removed, green starts.

You might try zapping your system with Chemiclean to get rid of the red slime cyanobacteria.
