Hi scrubbers,I have a 90g with a scrubber in the sump.I would like to put a scrubber above my tank use leds and let it gravity return and let some critters feed the corals.I've been following since the original guidelines,my current scrubber uses the newer by cube sizing w/cfl's..I wondering if there's an ideal size to follow for proper led coverage/spacing. If I move it above my sizing would have to change to more linear than vertical,,so I'm guessing I might have to bump up my power head to cover flow over more length?? any simple trough type container ideas out there that would contain the light,,and simple led ideas/requirements/ Thanks so much for any help,,this forum is so helpful
For diy's

Any links to pics greatly appreciated. Thanks again,,,munson

3 watt LEDs, if 120 degree or wider angle beam (and no lenses), can be 2 to 3" from the screen, spaced about 2 to 3" apart.

A trough just need about 50 ghp per inch of width; does not matter how long it is. Two of these might be good:

A large Tupperware plastic box might work, or the plastic storage bins at Walmart. Get a black on, and put LEDs with a heat sink on the lid.
