Is it possible to get you to give us some pictures of your ATS and sump?
What are your routines arround your reef?

Hi Anders

Look at my tread about ats in te netherlands (http://algaescrubber.net/forums/showthread.php?2820-Ats-in-the-Netherlands) there you see some pics of my set-up.

My routines feeding auto 3 times a day flakes half nori every other day and frozen the other day.
cleaning my screen once every 2 ore 3 weeks
Cleaning te glass at 3 days.
The sand once a week (still have cyano by removing the detritus i can controle it)
measuring almost never
filling the water level 3 days 25 liter.
Thats all i believe.
The rest is for looking at te tank and trying to learn more about this hobby.

Further I am running a reefclub with 5 others te biggest in te netherlands its more than 40 years old club and at this moment we are organising a day for starters in te hobby cost a lot of time butt its wurth itt.

I still ave to putt in the ropes.
I am trying to use the air that comes down wite my downpipe and an air pump

So i made a box to get the air in and drilled a lott of hole's in it for the air to get in scrubber.

Which way do bubbles and water flow?

varke
04-16-2014, 03:43 AM
5301

The bubbles come from the overflow i let it pick up air.
As seen on the picture i made a collector under the scrubber wite a lot of holes.
In the picture on the last treath u can see a big hole on the side i made two of them in the scrubber there the water comes out.
Hope you understand.
When my waterfall scrubber is out i wil try to make a short you-tube movie of it.

Greetings

Hi Anders.

I time yes.
My floating scrubber started good but when i put my downpipe under it there was to much flow so the ropes whent white.
Know i putt the skimmer pomp under it and the light hours down to start it up again.
My bryopsis still grows strong in my tank and it cost me some corals and my acro's are bleaching from the bottum so i tested my water and nitrate is gone but po4 is up it was 0.16 and i am bringing it down wite diakat-b
Its down to 0.08 now.
Mayby i have to test more?
Pictures wil come soon.

Hi Anders.
I have too types of purpel stylo in the tank.
It is one of the easy stony corals.
My corals are getting bigger fast at this moment and the polieps are far open.
I use a ca reactor full of old coral.

varke
11-12-2016, 01:19 AM
The overflow is covert yes.

SantaMonica
11-12-2016, 11:45 AM
No I mean did you apply texture to the wall, or did it grow by itself?

varke
11-12-2016, 11:47 AM
Just no cleaning of the glass.
I can not reach at the back so no more cleaning.
