I have a few questions on setting up a new FWLR tank
I am in no hurry to get it done
I started making my rock (oyster shells and concrete) 3 months ago and it is cured and ready to go
I want to go with just live rock a sand bed(still unsure of my depth prob just around 3") and an ATS for filtration
I would like to get good coralline growth going before the addition of livestock (not even sure what I want but am leading to sea horses and mandarins due to the pods that grow in the filter)
I was looking at grunge and the bag of bugs at garf.org
So my question is what order should I start to add things and when should I turn on my ATS or should I not worry about it and just add everything at once and kick the scrubber on
It's a55 but with the rock I made it's only holding 38 gal of water
6x6 scrubber but can go to 13x13
1800 gph through 2power heads and 1pump for the scrubber
I could go with corals with my lights but I don't want to for a year or so
Thanks for the help
Randy

Might want to consider a shallow sand bed, unless you have read about deep ones and really want it.

The bag of grunge will probably be ok. With no animals yet, you will see bugs all over, especially if you feed the bug a pinch per day.

Could just have a pods-and-coralline only tank :)

So I guess I just put everything at once?
