Will an ATS get rid of valonia (bubble algae)? I have a few patches of valonia growing on my rocks and want to know, when I set my ATS up, will it get rid of it?

Thanks, James

An ATS will help, but probably not eliminate bubble algae by itself.

I have bubble algae in my tank, it is a minor issue compared to the hair algae and bryopsis issues that I am using a ATS to help get rid of.

Cyano and bubble algae will be the last to go. The stronger the scrubber, the faster it will work. The more phosphate stored in the rocks, the longer it will take.
