Hi all,
My scrubber has been running for 4 weeks now on my freshwater 10 gallon aquarium with good weekly harvests.
However it seems that when the algae starts growing around profusely around mid-week, the color is very strange. It's as if it's a "glowing" fluorescent green color- VERY bright. I can't get a good picture because of the reflection from the lights, but I was wondering if anyone had any input as to if this is OK or not.
A friend thought it was cyanobacteria because he seems to get a lot of that kind of growth in his freshwater tanks here in Montreal, Canada.
Thoughts?
Thanks!
