Screen white spots

I have had my scrubber and tank up and running for 4 weeks. Late last week I noticed some white spots showing on the screen. These spots look like bleached algae clumps to me not just the bare screen. I was even thinking salt or calcium buildup.

Has anyone ever seen this before? any thoughts or other recommendations?
