I am thinking of building a UAS for my tank, but I do not know where to buy the LED's for it? I feed 5 pinches a day in a freshwater tank of 100gal. Thanks for all the posts and awesome information!

Welcome.

Glad you like the info. The basic 3-watt 660 nanometer (red) LED star can be found all over the web and ebay, along with the drivers to power them. If the LED's will not be going in the water, you'll need a heatsink too, which also should be available at the same places. If the LED's will be going in the water, you won't need a heat sink but you'll need to dip them twice in epoxy to seal them. If you can't find what you need, they we always have the ones we use at www.santa-monica.cc in the parts section.
