Hi all I am new to the ats world. I have been running my diy ats for a 2 months now and don't known if it is working 100% or if I could be doing it better. So I am running my 90g tank off of a mag 5 I believe. 700gph. My ats is running off of my tanks return line so the flow through the ats should be around 500-600gph with head pressure taken into acount. I have 2 different led lights running on the ats. But my alage does not look like the videos I have seen in the past. It is green but it looks like it has bubbles like bacteria. I will try to add pics and links to the lights I have .

Thanks in advance,

Kiss reef

I have two of this lights on one side about 3 inches away. Does anyone have any input on this lighting for an ats setup?

Growth is good.

Those lights are 9 watts, so two on each side seems a minimum.

this is the light I have on the other side. Any thoughts??

If not that great can someone please point me in the right direction?

Is 12 watts each, but is focused so you will need to keep it farther away.

I have three of the Expression, LTD led lights on a 5"x14" 1-sided screen ATS. My ATS is a hybrid waterfall unit sitting at a 45 degree slope. I harvest 100-120 grams of wet algae weekly. The lights are great.
