Hi everyone.

i have just built a ATS for my new tank (not fully set up yet)

its a boyu tl 550 so about 130 liters with a 70 liter sump (filled 3/4 of way max)

i built a 6 inch by 6 inch scrubber fed by a 1100lph pump but after finding the new recommended sizes is this going to be big enough?

its not going to be stocked heavily, a couple of clowns, a goby, a couple of hermit crabs and snails and then corals. so i wont be feeding tons either when its fully stocked (will take me at least a year to get it stocked)

im hoping that it going to be good enough it was a pain cutting that slot in the pipe!! :P

oh lightin is 2 23 watt CFL on either side

If the rock did not come from a problem tank, then the scrubber is probably fine. You will feed a cube a day or so.

thank you for the reply im pretty sure it didnt come from a problem tank (the guy showed me photos of it set up before he broke it down) im planning on making a proper enclosed one further down the line but just for now i wanted a cheap easy to build one, so if it will suffice thats great!

ill get back to researching how to build a enclosed one
