Air flow on while LED's are off

I am assuming that the air pump and therefore air flow over the HOG2 I have should be kept on while the LED's are not one. Please confirm as I could put both on the same timer to turn on and off together if it matters not. Thanks.

Yes the bubbles (and flow) need to be 24 hours. If you must turn the bubbles off for a bit, turn the light off too; you can let it sit for a few hours this way, once in a while.
