Ok I purchased a Surf 2X back in early October. It's been in operation about 6 weeks now. I still haven't gotten any tall growth as of yet. I have lights running about 20 hours. Here are pics from my last cleaning, yesterday.

Yes lights were half covered for the first 3 weeks.

Cover half again, and see which side grows more in 10 days.

Should I fold the cloth to make it 2 ply or leave it single ply?
