View Full Version : Waterfall Lighting power upgrade

I was getting a short dark sloppy algae growth with my 20w (run at more like 12w) LED's so I bought some 30w (run at more like 20w) Just finished installing them so hopefully I will start getting lighter longer GHA. The 20w were fine on my A5 size ATs but my new one is more like A4 hence the upgrade.

Would be nice if the light were a little more spread out.

The lights are about 4" from the screen and theyou easily cover the screen. I get even growth but so far the algae is not a nice, long and light green as it was when I had the 20w ones on my smaller screen hence why I have increased the power to these 30w ones.
