No growth after 2 weeks

Hi,

I have had my ATS going for 2 weeks and have nearly no growth and was looking for some help, 2 lights 6 watt each so 12 real watts and the screen size is 10cm wide and about 13/14cm high, lights are on 16 hours a day
feeding a pinch or two of food a day (only one fish)

Lights are just a bit too strong. Turn one off until it fills in.
