DIY scrubber help

I made my own and first algae scrubber recently and it is a waterfall style within a container to be setup outside the sump. I made it with the drain on the side and the problem is that I supply it with a pump (MaxiJet 1200) from my skimmer section and drain it by the return pump. I guess that the flow creates too much bubble coming out the drain and now there are micro bubbles in my display. Is there any way to to reduce to micro bubbles in my display?

Yes what you could do is put a little vertical baffle in the container, like they do in sumps, to make the bubbles go up while the pump stays low. Also you could raise the water level in the container, and you can reduce the flow on the scrubber.
