Well.. decided to build a new scrubber so i could fully contain the light and use better lighting. All black acrylic. Went with a 14" long x 9" tall screen (55 clownfish + 28 BTA's) feed twice a day. 2 x 20w IP65 LED floodlight per side. Had to use 1" PVC for a frame to hang the scrubber over my sump, bottom will be 1/4" above sump level.
Went with this design from basically looking at 100's of scrubber boxes online:

Good build. Should start out well. If you want to change any more if it, you can try:
1. Change to red, or red+blue lights. Will double growth.
2. Add thickness to the lid; it is going to warp upwards.
3. Seal all cracks in the lights; they are not waterproof, and even salt creep will eventually get up in them.

- the lid is recessed down into box with a 1" wide second layer above recessed section.
- tried to find GOOD red+blue lights like those. Suggestions?? 40w per side right for 14x9" screen? Those lights are suppose be outdoor waterproof.

Yes but it will still warp up after a while. Needs a vertical brace about an inch high, kinda like the handle but all the way across, and thicker if possible.
Since you have the light, may as well use them for now, but the same styles are on ebay for "grow lights". They are not waterproof though... you can prove this by putting one underwater for a bit. They are only resistant to freshwater rain, for a short while. And sometimes not even that. Make sure you have a GFCI protection plug.
